The importance of hygiene
Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19. Pupils, students, staff and visitors should wash their hands:
- before leaving home
- on arrival at school
- after using the toilet
- after breaks and sporting activities
- before food preparation
- before eating any food, including snacks
- before leaving school
We reinforce the importance of sneezing into a tissue / our elbows to catch our sneezes and avoid touching our eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Please help us in sharing simple and effective hygiene messages at home. A helpful video can be found here.
